Welcome to InvestorHike! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the InvestorHike mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our Service. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using InvestorHike, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
• You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms
• You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the Service
• All information you provide is accurate, current, and complete

Account Registration and Security

Account Creation

To use certain features of InvestorHike, you must register for an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate and current
• Keep your password confidential and secure
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

Account Types

InvestorHike offers two types of accounts:

• Startup Account: For entrepreneurs seeking funding and connections with investors
• Investor Account: For individuals or entities looking to discover and invest in startups

User Responsibilities and Conduct

As a user of InvestorHike, you agree to:

• Use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Provide truthful and accurate information about yourself and your business
• Respect the intellectual property rights of others
• Not engage in fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive practices
• Not harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Not upload viruses, malware, or any harmful code
• Not scrape, copy, or harvest data from the Service without permission

Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
• Sell, rent, or lease access to your account or the Service
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service

Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you upload to InvestorHike, including pitch decks, business plans, and other materials ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to upload and share your User Content
• Your User Content does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of third parties
• Your User Content complies with these Terms and all applicable laws

InvestorHike's Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by InvestorHike and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our intellectual property without our express written permission.

Investment Disclaimer

You acknowledge and agree that:

• All investment decisions are made solely by you and at your own risk
• We do not verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of information provided by users
• You should conduct your own due diligence before making any investment
• Past performance does not guarantee future results
• Investments in startups carry significant risks, including the potential loss of your entire investment
• You should consult with qualified financial, legal, and tax advisors before making investment decisions

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

Fees and Payments

InvestorHike may offer both free and paid features. We reserve the right to:

• Introduce new paid features or subscription plans at any time
• Modify pricing for existing features with reasonable notice
• Charge fees for premium services, which will be clearly communicated to you

All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by law.

Termination

By You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in the app. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Behavior that harms other users or the Service
• Extended periods of inactivity
• Any other reason we deem necessary to protect our Service or users

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Service Provided "As Is"

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INVESTORHIKE AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Actions or conduct of third parties on the Service
• Investment decisions made based on information obtained through the Service
• Any other matter relating to the Service

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless InvestorHike and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Your User Content

Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

If you have any dispute with InvestorHike, you agree to first contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally by sending a written notice to support@investorhike.com.

Arbitration

If informal resolution is unsuccessful, any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the relevant arbitration authority, rather than in court.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where InvestorHike is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in that jurisdiction for the resolution of any disputes.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting the updated Terms on this page
• Updating the "Last updated" date
• Sending you an email notification (if applicable)
• Displaying a notice in the app

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and InvestorHike regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
